Being an avid EVE Online player I am seriously interested in this game. I don't know how many other people are. Another thing that has me wondering, is it going to be like eve by means of Skilling up. If that is the case it is going to take forever to get anywhere. If they do that are they going to have an api that we can find out what skills we are training and how long they take to get. That is just some of the things I was wondering. Knowing Eve the way I do it takes forever to get anywhere in the game. Trust me, 3 years and still trying to sort out my combat char. My industry alt has things figured out. If any one else is playing please fill free to contact me in game, easiest way is to open the people and places on the neo com, put Rena Windor in the search box and make sure to search for character. Send a message or Evemail and I will get it. You can also add me and I will respond. If it don't look like her, then it ain't me.

Without a doubt I will take a serious look at playing Dust 514. They seem to have a handle on the fact that for this console game most people will just want to fight, but they also see willing to set up an EVE Lite situation where you can set yourself up as an Mercenary Corporation.
Whatever they make the early looks seem engaging, or something different at least.

Yeah, Dust514 was actually the highlight of E3 for me in terms of being a game I hadn't heard much about. The trailer seemed to show standard space marine combat, but the concept of coordination with the PC player base as well as world continuity has me hooked. I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure! (and LOVE your character design! The game gets an additional thumbs up for having female characters and I hope this carries over to Dust)

If they follow EVE Online at all, then it should be an almost infinate differant ways you can go. I know in EVE if you wish to do a certain carear path then you can do it. Ever since I heard about Dust about a year ago I have wanted it. I just hope it doesn't turn out like Ghost did for Blizzard. Hype it up and then cancel it before it was completed.

I think too many game site critics wrote the game off as just another shooter. I hope over the next year they look at it more deeply and start telling people about how its IS NOT just another shooter.
