Goosy and I were thinking that tonight, Feb. 1, 2008, would be a good night to get a game or four of Rainbow 6 Vegas going. See here: gap.us.playstation.com/?q=node/73905I should be on pretty early for me, around 9pm PST, and will be looking for the game. Make sure you download all the free map packs if you haven't done that yet too. Hope to see some old and new faces there.

My 9pm is your 11pm. So I should be on at about 10:30 or 11pm your time. Nice and early.

*lines up the AK-47 with the sniper scope and the silencer on Goosy's furry face*
I really like that you can add the silencer and the scope to your AK-47 on R6V where you can only have one or the other with COD4. This is on the PS3 by the way. It would have been nice to have map packs downloadable as well but perhaps they have all the maps already on the PS3 version? *shrugs*
I should look for some PS3ers to play this with.
El Cid, JR, meoman? interested in going through the online coop mode? perhaps some Terrorist hunts?
So chuck, you looking forward to R6V 2? I know I am. I almost felt like I was prematurely ejaculated at the end of R6V. LMAO It is pretty good game as far the FPS goes.
I really hope they did some wirk on the lobby and the PSN interface. I am curious though as far as the 360 goes, what if anything could they improve on for the 360 version?

Reserve GoW: CoO @ Circuit City to get a free shirt. It looks awesome! You get it when the game comes out though....

They should definitely fix wall glitches, i.e. no shooting through walls (sandbags, etc fine) or the other wall glitch where the guys can see and shoot you, but you can't see any parts of him.
And they can improve on the armor protection. I liked how heavy armor really made you slow or light/no armor helped you run around faster. But the protection from heavy armor was relatively insignificant.
They can even add bonus whatever if you wear a full set of an armor. Like, wear the whole set of this armor and reload faster but have less accuracy.
And lastly, the DEFINITELY need to work on the accuracy of the guns. The precision of sub-machine guns are rediculously high at VERY (sniper) long ranges. The bullets should disappear and hit nothing after a certain distance. In reality, they really fall and don't reach the target unless you hold your gun up. So what they can do in the game is at least disappear the bullet when it goes too far.

ONE more hour to go before we start. *checks Goosy's time stamp*... I think he meant thirty minutes to go.

Well... Goosy talked me into staying up to play so there would be more people and after all that No one would even send me an invite... I dunno if Cjuck got it but I sent him a message letting him know I was online. Either way... I got in a good few rounds on COD4 in the mean time but I'm off to catch some ZZZs soon like I had planned to *cough* thanks Goosy *cough*

Hey Dark, you should have sent me a message man. I had NO idea you were on Live. I was playing and didn't check my messenger, and you were showing offline on Live. I would've invited you right away. You went away and I thought you just didn't want to play.
The game could've been a lot easier with 3 people. Me and Chuck got PWWWWNZ0r333dd!! Yeah we did 0WNZoxxX a few times but mostly got shot directly in the face LOL

I got your message and checked it as soon as I had a chance. Which wasn't too long since I died so quick in the game. When I checked it, it showed you were offline so I didn't send an invite. Sorry man. I assumed Goosy would have seen too, but you know what they say about assuming. Maybe next time.

We should do this at least once a week. This way, I'm sure other people will fall to the temptation

Sure thing RHYN0X. That would be great to play this online again.
I really want to do the coop online in one sitting and it is possible. I would extend an invitation to El Cid and JR so that they can learn how to get through some of those very tough levels. I managed to finish the game on Normal and Realistic so yeah, I can say I know how to get through some sections.
In those areas where you would normally use your team (single campaign) to clear a room for you, it is just as easy with four players coop.
I really wish I hadn't lost my game save file since I will have no choice but to start completely over again. Oh well.
